The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this data protection information, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing on our website.

1. Collection and processing of data

1.1 Collection and processing of volunteers' personal data

We collect and process the following personal data when you use the volunteer form: Name, date of birth, home address, e-mail address, telephone number, other voluntary information.

This data is collected for the following purposes: administration of registration for volunteer work, communication in connection with volunteer work and ensuring participation and coordination of activities.

The legal basis for the processing of personal data is our overriding legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, which consists in achieving the above-mentioned purposes. The processing of the volunteers' data is necessary in particular so that we can coordinate the volunteer work and so that we can contact the volunteers. Furthermore, the processing of data may be necessary and therefore lawful on the basis of the need to fulfill legal obligations (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR).

We will not retain your data for longer than is necessary to

• to fulfill the contractual obligations and/or
• to fulfill a legal obligation (e.g. the tax law retention obligation applicable in Austria pursuant to § 132 para. 1 BAO and the company law retention obligation pursuant to §§ 190, 212 UGB: 7 years), which requires processing under the law of the Union or the Member States to which we are subject, and/or
• for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in us and/or
• to defend against any liability claims or to assert, exercise or defend legal claims (for at least 3 years)

The website in question is currently operated by currycom communication partners GmbH as an external service provider for and on behalf of Equestrian Events GmbH. The data provided will be passed on by currycom communication partners GmbH to Equestrian Events GmbH to process the volunteer activity or to achieve the stated purposes and will be processed by Equestrian Events GmbH in accordance with this privacy policy. Neither currycom communication partners GmbH nor Equestrian Events GmbH will pass on the data provided without your consent. The processing of the data is necessary to fulfill the contract with you regarding your participation in the volunteer work.

If you contact us by e-mail, the data you provide will be stored for six months for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

By completing the volunteer form and sending your e-mail, you consent to the processing of your data.

1.2 Other collection and possible processing of data of persons visiting the website

We may collect and process the following data/data categories from people who visit the website:

• The visitor's IP address and the associated date and time of accessing a page on our website, the brand name and version of your web browser and the selected language setting, your operating system, your internet service provider, the website (URL) from which you were referred to our website,

We process this personal web visitor data for the following general purposes:

4. Google Analytics

7. Data security

Your personal data is protected by taking appropriate organizational and technical precautions. These precautions relate in particular to protection against unauthorized, unlawful or accidental access, processing, loss, use and manipulation. Notwithstanding our efforts to maintain an appropriately high level of due diligence at all times, it cannot be ruled out that information that you disclose to us via the Internet may be viewed and used by other persons. Please note that we therefore accept no liability whatsoever for the disclosure of information due to errors in data transmission not caused by us and/or unauthorized access by third parties (e.g. hacking attack on email account or telephone, interception of faxes).

8. Server-Log-Files

In order to optimize this website in terms of system performance, user-friendliness and the provision of useful information about our services, the website provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. This includes your internet protocol address (IP address), browser and language setting, operating system, referrer URL, your internet service provider and date/time.
