The Children's Day of the Longines Global Champions Tour Vienna | Schönbrunn Palace is already generating great interest weeks before the event begins. Around 400 children are expected in the Cour d'Honneur of Schönbrunn Palace on Thursday, September 24, 2026, to experience a morning full of horses, activity, and exciting hands-on stations. Due to high demand, registration for school classes is already closed.

Ten-year-old Diana Schoenberg will also be attending Children's Day. The young equestrian was able to win a show jumping competition in Stadl Paura at the end of July with an outstanding score of 8.2. She is a prime example of how genuine love for horses and the joy of equestrian sports can lead to impressive achievements from a young age, and she wants to share her enthusiasm for horses with other children.

Alongside the top-level sports, a varied program with numerous hands-on and adventure stations awaits the school classes. Gut Aiderbichl, the Children's Museum, the Railway Museum, and Lichtblickhof invite exploration, as do many other offers focused on horses, movement, and creativity. Whether it's Hobby Horsing with original Longines timing, movement stations by ASKÖ, free pony rides, or creative gingerbread decorating – Children's Day offers numerous opportunities to participate. The program is complemented by exciting insights into the work of a farrier and a veterinarian, as well as a station all about honey and horses. A magician and a bouncy castle provide additional entertainment.

The younger generation won't be left out on the following event days either: from Friday to Sunday, free pony rides, face painting, a magician, the Lichtblickhof.

With the new Children's Day, the Longines Global Champions Tour Vienna | Schönbrunn Palace is expanding its family program. Together with numerous partners, a varied offer is being created that will introduce children to equestrian sports in a playful way and invite them to an unforgettable day in the unique setting of Schönbrunn Palace.
